If power transmission equipment is underperforming, Milan Sreckov will propose an alternative solution – which was the case with an “earth-moving customer.” As a Technical Specialist in Power Transmission for CBC, he often visits customer sites to perform an assessment on troublesome applications. This was the case with an earth moving customer experiencing issues with a gearbox on a conveyor.
“The conveyor was breaking down every eight or nine months; that was the most they could get out of the gearbox,” says Milan.
He recommended a new drive solution: the ABB Dodge Motorised Torque Arm II.
