In many industries, efficient production relies on the smooth operation of interconnected machines. When one machine breaks down, it can bring the entire production line to a halt. This was the case for a manufacturer of decorative surfaces when their elephant stacker machine malfunctioned. Harrison Hart, a Mechanical Engineer based in WA and part of the Motion team, was called in to troubleshoot and find a solution. 

Initially, the business was hesitant to receive engineering support, as they had been using the machine for over forty years. However, Harrison identified a critical issue: the machine lacked up-to-date technical drawings, and there was no proper maintenance knowledge. This lack of information was causing problems and hindering the machine’s performance.
