Steve Keown, National Product Manager for Lubricants and Chemicals at Motion Australia, remembers when the only methods for removing rust from industrial parts was with angle grinders, toxic chemicals, and wire wheels.
“These methods were dirty, messy, generated toxic fumes and posed a lingering threat of component damage,” he says. “Now, there are heavy-duty cleaning products available on the market that are safer for people and the planet. They don’t require sanding, brushing or vigorous rubbing.”
