22 Feb Protecting coal fired power plants from abrasion wear
For a coal fired power station in Queensland , the solution for excessive erosion in their pipes and boiler tubes came through CBC experts, in collaboration with Henkel LOCTITE Australia.
A coating of LOCTITE’s Pneu-Wear Epoxy Compound, in conjunction with LOCTITE’s Brushable Ceramic Coating helped protect the metal surfaces from excessive fine particle wear.
The experts also helped re-build the coal burner tips using LOCTITE’s High Temperature Wearing Compound, helping the power plant save half a million dollar per year in maintenance. READ MORE…
