14 Jun New benchmark for gasket design
Traditional materials used in the design of industrial gaskets, such as graphite, often fail to hold up in corrosive environments. As a licensed manufacturer of Flexitallic products, Seal Innovations has recently been working with a new material called Corriculite across trials in seawater and hydrocarbon settings.
Corriculite has a much lower leak rate than other gasket materials, and has been proven to be 100 times tighter than graphite during electrochemical evaluations.
