Since CBC engineers first introduced Scorpion seals as an alternative to standard taconite seals, the seals’ design has undergone further improvements. CBC Australia Principal Advisor Gary Payne says the design improvements have made the seals even more suited to rugged conditions such as those in mine sites.
Scorpion seals are successfully adopted by major mines across Australia and the CBC engineering team has been closely monitoring the performance of the seals, making further design improvements for ease of installation and maximum pulley protection. READ MORE…
